Last day on the start line for this regatta and I shot quite a bit of it at 700mm to get in nice and close. One of the advantages of shooting down there multiple days is you can get the "standard" shots out of the way the first round which lets you play around a bit more which is fun.
Probably the most random thing that happened today (there's always random things happening on the start, even at Worlds) was we found out that Alan Campbell may have a future as a baseball pitcher following the most precise water bottle toss in rowing history. Let's just say the stake boat hold never saw it coming!
Two galleries for today's racing: Adaptive Finals and Medals as then one for the reps and quarterfinals.
Tomorrow is a compressed program due to an incoming storm which should provide some interesting conditions for the crews and the photographers. Looking to be pretty much a straight tailwind for the semifinals so watch out for some fast times and rough water!
